Learning How Business Works

Six Steps to Online Teaching Success
    ________________________________________

1.  Review what it is, specifically, that you want to
accomplish with your training material.  What's the real
goal?  Always keep the objective in sight.

2.  Set the agenda, the objectives, and pre-work
assignments. If you don't know what the outcome is to be,
you certainly won't know how to get there, or get your
learners there.

3.  Determine the key elements to present in outline form,
tie the outline to a PPT to be developed, create the
verbiage to accompany the PPT, and do a rough draft of
the PPT.

4.  Once the initial PPT is done, create the learner and
leader guides and enhance the PPT by additional
material to harmonize the content.

5. After completion of the final PPT, finalize your Leader's
Guide, if applicable and the List of Training Aids.

6.  Develop an evaluation to measure whether the learner
LEARNED the material, not simply memorized and
guessed at the test questions.
